Shawn moved to Arlington, Virginia in 1996 after graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance with a concentration in economics from James Madison University. He began his career in 1996 as a financial advisor at Fortis Investors. There he met Assaf Pinchas, and together they founded Allegiance Financial Group, LLC in 2001. He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2002. Together with Assaf Pinchas and Charlie Cooke, Shawn founded their own registered investment advisor firm, Allegiance Financial Group Advisory Services, LLC in 2021.
Shawn focuses on helping busy individuals and families make smart financial decisions with their money by building long-term relationships and understanding what matters most to his clients. His passion is helping clients ignore the noise and avoiding the mistakes that could prevent them from achieving financial success. He uses a holistic approach to understand their dreams, develop a plan, and help them to stay on track.
Shawn enjoys soccer and is an avid college basketball fan. He stays involved with his step-kids’ sports and activities. He loves hiking with his wife, gardening, working out, and getting together with his lifelong friends. He is a long time Virginia resident and currently lives with his family in Falls Church.
